Born in Tokyo. Freelance animation director.
Her short animation Self-Honest Me (2017) won the Japan Grand Prix at the 4th New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival.
Since then, she has worked across a wide range of media, including children’s television programs and web commercials, alongside her independent productions.
Drawing inspiration from unpleasant memories and emotionally charged experiences, she creates stories rooted in personal recollection.
Her work often features soft, rounded animal characters—such as cats and rabbits—that serve as vessels for these emotions, transformed through humor. She primarily animates digitally using TVPaint, while also exploring a return to analog techniques.
Graduated from Tama Art University Department of Information Design Art & Media Course, and completed Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Film and New Media Department of Animation.
Member of the Japan Animation Association.
